IWG Faster Tagging
Tag your posts faster
The original postpage has some disadvantages for tagging your posts. The major one: you can’t see all your existing tags to choose some of them. If you are typing into the add-tag field, after the first two chars the auto tag suggestions starts to give you a list with matching tags. This can slow down your client and server, because on every typed char a server request for auto-complete is running.
“IWG Faster Tagging” would help you, to tag your post better and faster. if you are interested - here is the complete featurelist.
Features
- Show all your tags in alphabetically order as buttons on every post page
- supports also tag-names with ‘ and ” (new in version 1.1.0)
- To choose a tag, only a simple click on it is needed
- All assigned tags are listed in alphabetically order. If you add or remove one or more tags, the tags will be automatically reordered for you
- An administrator-option to switching off the auto-tag-complete (also called auto tag suggestion) on the whole WordPress-Blog
- Full multi-language support. Translated languages are in the moment: English, German.
- supports also installation into a separately sub-directory under
plugins(new in version 1.1.0) - full WPMU support (new in version 1.2.0)
- runs as an auto-activated plugin
- the right place for installation is in
mu-plugins - (de-)activation of auto-tag-suggestion is a site wide feature and only site admin can change this

Hi Thomas,
Would you please be kind enough to answer my previous question? Will you upgrade this plugin to work with 2.8 (well, 2.8.1 now)?
If not, would you mind that we borrow your original basic code and upgrade it ourselves? (giving you partial credit of course)
Cheers,
Gene

Hi,
It seems to be a very handy plugin and exactly what I want. But found out that it does not work in 2.8.1. Are you planning on upgrading soon? Or like Gene says, can I edit your code to make it work for me?
Thanks,
bipul
