Wordpress Logo Today I released my latest brand new Plugin for WordPress called “IWG Faster Plugin“:

The plugin fixes some disadvantages from the original tagging-system at your editing post page.

Features of version 1.0 are:

Show all your tags in alphabetically order as buttons on every post page
To choose a tag, only a simple click on it is needed
All assigned tags are listed in alphabetically order. If you add or remove one or more tags, the tags will be automatically reordered for you
An administrator-option to switching off the auto-tag-complete (also called auto tag suggestion) on the whole WordPress-Blog
Full multi-language support. Translated languages are in the moment: English, German.

To switch off the tag-auto-suggestion (tag-auto-complete) feature, an administrator has an extra option page: This will speed up your blog very well:

Note: If you want only speed up your blog by switching off the autocomplete feature without all the other features of “IWG Faster Tagging”, you can also using the “Tag Uncomplete“-Plugin by Alex King.

Ich probiere gerade dein Plugin aus. Aktiviert kriege ich es ohne Fehlermeldung, aber unter “Schreiben” werden mir meine bereits existierenden Tags nicht angezeigt. Habe WordPress 2.5.1. Wo könnte der Fehler stecken…?

Ja, Javascript ist aktiviert. Ich vermute, es beisst sich mit einem meiner tausend anderen Plugins. Ich werde es mal auf einem weniger Plugin-verseuchten Blog probieren.

Halt mich bitte auf dem Laufenden. Notfalls kannst Du mir auch ‘ne Liste mit Deinen installierten Plugins per Email schicken.

Auf einem anderen Blog klappts auch nicht. Ich gehe auf “Schreiben” und müsste in der Rubrik “Tags” alle bislang benutzten Schlagwörter/Tags als graue Buttons sehen, stimmts? Dann habe ich keine Idee. NoScript und Adblock Plus sind deaktiviert. Vielleicht liegts ja an meinem Theme…? Ist in beiden Fällen mistylooks von hier: http://wpthemes.info/misty-look/

Ich weiss nicht, obs damit zusammenhängen könnte: In meinem Blog werden Tags/Schlagwörter auch nirgends angezeigt, bloß Kategorien.
