Last night I released a new version of the Role Manager Plugin for WordPress.
This new release is only a bugfix-release to get the Plugin working with older versions of WordPress, because they don’t know the function wp_enqueue_script. More information about the impact of the bug you can find in the comment from Jared and my answer.

mein letzter Kommentar ist *vielleicht abhanden gekommen … hier nochmals the gist of it. Cooles plugin role-manager und danke fürs aktiv behalten.
Ich bin ein bisschen farbenblind, und das hat zur folge, dass die accept/cancel icons farblich nicht auseinanderzuhalten sind. hier ein cancel.jpg, das ich unterscheiden kann. vielleichgt kannst du das ja in die distribution übernehmen.

Ich hatte leider mir als Administrator die falschen Rechte gegeben und konnte es nach erneutem Login nicht mehr rückgängig machen. Thomas half mir und ich möchte diese Erkenntnis nun veröffentlichen:
“… Man braucht ein Datenbanktool - z.B. phpmyadmin.
In der Datenbank Deiner WordPress-Installation gibt es eine
Tabelle usermeta. Meistens heißt sie wp_usermeta. Ich unter-
stelle mal, daß Dein WordPress-Admin-User die user_id 1 hat
und Du der Adminrolle die Berechtigung edit_users weggenommen
hast.
Also mußt Du nach dem Eintrag meta_key=wp_capabilities für
die user_id 1 suchen. Da steht bei Dir im Moment wahrscheinlich
folgendes als meta_value drin:
a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}
Das mußt Du ersetzen durch:
a:2:{s:10:”edit_users”;b:1;s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}
Was bewirkt es? Der admin - nicht die Rolle Administrator
bekommt jetzt das Sonderrecht - also die ExtraCapability -
User zu editieren und kommt somit auch wieder an den Role
Manager und die Userverwaltung ran. …”
