WordPress 2.0.6 hatte gerade mal 10 Tage Lebenszeit und wurde gestern von der Version 2.0.7 abgelöst. So richtig glücklich sind die Entwickler mit diesen schnellen Release-Zyklen auch nicht, aber das Fixen der Sicherheitslöcher war ihnen wichtiger.

… We know it sucks to have a release only 10 days after our last one, but we think it’s important enough for your blog to be secure to do it, and hopefully only having to change a few files will make the upgrade easier than normal …

Die Release-Mitteilung enthält in kurzer Aufstellung was sich alles geändert hat und welche Dateien das betrifft. Mittlerweile ist auch die Upgrade-Seite angepaßt, auf der es eine Kurzanleitung für den Wechsel von 2.0.6 auf 2.0.7 gibt.

Mit der Version 2.0.7 wird der “Upgrade-Reigen” allerdings nicht vorbei sein, denn die Version 2.1 von WordPress ist auch schon in Sicht:
